It’s amazing what you’ll watch in the wee hours of the night.
I’ve been out sick the past two days (still the same cold) and while laying in bed Monday night I took in “Cheerleader U” which, come to find out, centers on the University of Central Florida squad. It’s safe to say I wouldn’t have stopped to watch had it not been my alma matter. And it was very educational. I found out the squad won the 2007 Nationalal Championship. I don’t remember that t-shirt being offered in the online catalogue.
After watching pikes and herkies I stumbled on “Road House”. The next hour or so of my life was now booked.
Patrick Swayze starring as Dalton, a watering-hole bouncer who’s called on when there’s a need for some neck-snapping justice. But he’s not all muscle and mousse, Dalton has a philosophy degree from NYU, so there’s a kinder, gentler side to his brand of justice. But if you push him far enough, he’ll rip your heart right out of your chest.
It’s not high on dialogue which makes it a great watch when you can’t sleep. I highly recommend.
